External Decoration Works for White Horse Housing Association
Following our last project where we looked at a property renovation in Kilmersdon which involved external decorating, we have been busy completing our external decoration program for White Horse Housing Association in the beautiful May sunshine.
The work has included replacing doors, windows (casement and sash) and frames by our in-house team of carpenters, as well as replacing broken glazing which was removed and new glazing installed. A number of the properties have cast iron guttering which needs substantial preparation prior to the application of a final top coat of paint which is suitable for metal.
Many of the properties required scaffolding or mobile working platforms to provide suitable access to higher level areas and with the recent addition of our Easidec Platform this has really helped with the decorating. Whilst we were working at height the gutters were also cleared and flow tested to check for leaks.
The work we have done has really brightened up these properties and given them a brand new look for summer. As well as making them look visually great, it also helps to maintain the wood and features which gives the doors, fasicas and windows longevity against the elements.
