Multi Skilled Operative Vacancy in Somerset and Wiltshire

If the answer is yes to these three questions then we have the job for you. We are looking for a multi skilled operative to join the 3 Solutions team covering Somerset and Wiltshire.

Key responsibilities and duties

• You will undertake a range of tasks from minor maintenance repairs right through to installing new kitchens, bathrooms, groundworks, carpentry works, decorating, floor and wall tiling (depending on your trade area).
• You will be required to work on your own and must be able to use your own initiative to problem solve and ensure works are completed to a high standard.
• You will need the ability to work from a PDA (personal digital assistant) and excellent communication skills are required for this position, also a UK driving license.

Working hours

• 8am until 5pm - Monday to Friday. An on call rota is in place within the company and you will be required to be part of this.
• Offices are based in Shepton Mallet but the operative will be working around Somerset & Wiltshire.

Key Skills

You will have:

• A trade relevant qualification to City & Guilds or NVQ level (e.g. carpentry, plastering, decorating, tiling)
• At least 2 years’ experience within a property maintenance role

Rewards

• Salary: £24,000 to £27,000 (dependant on experience)
