Hi Leon, tell us a bit about yourself?

Hi, I’m Leon, I live in Street with my wife, three year old daughter and our two year old Labrador!

What’s your role at 3 Solutions?

I am a Multi Trade Operative / Site Supervisor.

How long have you been working here?

I have worked at 3 Solutions since July 2017, so six months.

Describe your typical workday.

Typically, I have a varied role within the company. One day I could be plastering or carrying out roof repairs on a property and on another day, I could be supervising and working on larger projects such as a local pub refurbishment to create accommodation to their first floor. I also regularly work on extensions/renovations to properties in the private sector; this gives me a real mixture of work and makes my day-to-day job so interesting.

What’s the favourite part of your job.

My favourite part of the role is the variation in work, which allows me to pick up new roles and test my skills in different areas.

Do you benefit from training within your role?

I have definitely benefited from the training given in the short space of time I have been with 3 Solutions. Firstly with the Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and secondly a plumbing course. The SSSTS course has given me the opportunity to take my career to the next level.

Tell us something interesting about yourself!

Other than spending time with my family, I am quite partial to a spot of surfing as and when I have the time. I also enjoy a few sessions of kickboxing a week and going to British Superbike races.
