After battling with the mud as we set up, the day itself turned out bright and for the majority of the day we enjoyed the sunshine before the rain hit at 4pm!

art of the community and we were once again lucky to be part of the award winning one-day agricultural show. We really enjoy the social element to the show from the pre-show party on the Friday evening through to the show itself, which gives us the opportunity to speak to friends, family, clients and customers who help make and support our business.
This free show attracts over 2,500 exhibitors and 17,000 visitors from the surrounding areas of Shepton Mallet and we were proud to sponsor the Shepton in Business marquee alongside accountants and financial planners Old Mill. Supporting the local business community is important to us, so it gave us the perfect opportunity to support Shepton Chamber of Commerce with their initiative to promote local businesses within the marquee, so that they can showcase their goods and services.
We also supported the tombola, which was kindly run by Andy Smy of AS Print, raising funds for the Shepton Mallet Christmas Lights.
In the marquee we were also joined by Barnard Fitness, Keyring Lettings, Red Berry Recruitment, BARME, Bartlett Gooding & Weelen, Bruton Yoga, Goulds, Shepton Mallet Girl Guides, Street Mortgages, Fabajulie Facepainting, Tots Tipis and the suitcase businesses.
Allan Barnard from Barnard Fitness has been exhibiting at the show for a number of years and really values the show as a way of raising his profile in the Shepton Mallet area. He comments “you get to see so many people in one day at the show! It is a great way to keep in touch with people, raise awareness of my business and also enjoy a social day out with friends and family.”
