Training and Development Excellence for Mendip Business, 3 Solutions

Investing in our staff and their development is fundamental to our business, which is why we are absolutely delighted to have won the award for Training and Development Excellence at this year’s Mendip Business Awards, sponsored by Red Berry Recruitment.

Celebrating at the annual awards on Friday 2 June which were held for the third year at the Royal Bath & West Show, it was a fantastic celebration of local Mendip businesses and their achievements. Our category alone was extremely well represented by other Shepton Mallet businesses including The Royal Bath & West Society and Free Range Business Services.

Rich Watts, Director commented, “Following our success of reaching the final last year for Customer Service Excellence we decided to enter a different category this year, our passion within our business is our people and what better way to support them than through their continuous development and training.”

As a business we have a number of apprentices that are working towards qualifications at local colleges and various tradesmen undertaking additional training such as plumbing courses in the evenings. We also have heating engineers undertaking exams to gain qualifications in new areas of work such as air source heat pumps and oil.
