Training support for the team at 3 Solutions

It has been a busy few months at 3 Solutions, working on projects throughout the region and the team have been busy updating their qualifications and skill sets.

Luke Parfitt, Jamie Ingram and Leon Tozer have recently attended and passed their site safety qualification over a two-day course. The SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) includes information and updates on the Health and Safety at Work Act, specific site issues that challenge our supervisors on a daily basis, effective toolbox talks, supervision of occupational health and behavioural safety.

For our office team we are also increasing our Health and Safety knowledge, Andy Cressy our estimator is currently away from the business on a two-week course to complete his NEBOSH qualification which is a recognised qualification endorsed by the HSE (Health and Safety Executive) and the UK’s most popular and well regarded health and safety qualification.

Jack Clift one of our electricians is studying for his Inspection and Testing Level 3 qualification. The course objective is to provide the knowledge and expertise in the initial verification and commissioning of electrical installations covering both single and three phase systems. The six-day course is split between practical learning, theory and exams. Once completed Jack will be able to check and sign off other electricians work within the business, as well as supporting his future career and adding additional skills to 3 Solutions.  

In November Nathan Flower, Leon Tozer and Chris Stevens, three of our tradesman will be attending night classes at Radstock college to gain a qualification relating to plumbing works. This will help increase their skills and enable them to gain new skills in changing taps, installing isolation valves, fitting showers and repairing toilets.
