What does FENSA mean?
According to the FENSA website, “FENSA was established as a response to the Building Regulations for double glazing companies in England and Wales.”
So what exactly does this mean?
Basically, if you are having new windows or doors fitted, by choosing a FENSA double glazed registered company means you are protected when purchasing new windows for your home.
FENSA works with with thousands of double glazing contractors in England and Wales including us, and as the market leader, FENSA which was formed in 2002 is the largest and longest established Competent Person Scheme (CPS) within the replacement window and door industry.
As part of our role as FENSA members it enables us to self-certify compliance under the Building Regulations without having to have a separate assessment from building control, which means it can save you money and stop you from dealing with local authority inspections and fees.
Once your replacement windows or doors have been fitted it can take up to four weeks for your certificate to arrive.
