Property renovation in Kilmersdon, Radstock for White Horse Housing Association

As part of our five-year contract with White Horse Housing Association (WHHA), we look after their portfolio of rented properties and our latest project is a property renovation in Kilmersdon, Radstock.

What did we do?

Our experienced team have completed a full external redecoration to the outside of the property including the preparation and painting of the timber windows, a timber front and side door and the fascia boards. Freshening these up has really made a difference to the property, revitalising it ready for the Summer. Our customer commented “we had painters outside painting doors and windows, so the outside is getting a facelift too, they are professional, quiet and tidy. As part of this property renovation we also replaced their family bathroom, this included a new bath and shower, basin and pedestal WC to complete the bathroom renovation, all finished with high quality fittings. Our customer gave us some lovely feedback “with the quality of the equipment fitted, no longer do I feel like a second rate housing association renter, it’s a beautiful bathroom suite, with the added luxury of constant temperature water, which is a new one for us! The bathroom is now bright clean and modern, with beautiful boxing in of all the hideous pipe work, it has been done to an excellent standard.”

Finally we removed the solid fuel heating system and wood burner which made it hard to heat the whole house and to keep it at a consistent temperature. We replaced it with a new oil central heating system with a pressurised cylinder. This will really benefit the residents with their heating costs and maintenance going forward as well as giving the family heat and hot water on demand.
